This page is maintained by the Noura team to explain what the Noura mobile app collects, why, and what control you have. It describes our current practices and is not an independent certification or audit.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address and, optionally, a display name.
- Health information you enter: medication and dose logs, injection sites, weight and measurements, side effects, notes, food, hydration and activity entries.
- Device and usage information: app version, device model, operating system and crash diagnostics used to keep the app stable.
How we use your information
We use your data to run the features you ask for — storing your logs, generating trends and summaries, syncing across your devices, sending the reminders you enable, and responding to support requests. We also use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve the app.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal or health data.
- We do not use your health entries for advertising or share them with advertisers.
- We do not share identifiable data with employers or insurers.
Sharing and service providers
We share limited data with vendors that help operate the app — cloud hosting, crash reporting and email delivery — under contracts limiting their use to providing those services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
Storage and security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our hosting provider, and access is limited to team members who need it. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password and enable device-level protection.
Your choices and rights
- Export your logs at any time from Settings → Data.
- Delete individual entries, or your entire account and its data, from within the app.
- Turn notifications and optional analytics off in Settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, port or delete your personal data — contact us and we will respond.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your health entries are removed from production systems, with encrypted backups aging out within 30 days.
Children
Noura is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
